China’s Shenzhou VII returns to Earth
Today,China Shenzhou VII finished space walk mission and retureed to earth successfully back. Lots of media in China have focuing on this issue several way.
And the return situation was in live. At that moment, i was on the bus to come back. As there is video on the bus, i watched most of this process。

Beijing West Station begin the passenger flow peak
On September 27th, Just before one day of the National Holiday in China. As this holiday is the longest holiday except the Spring Festival holiday, most people will go home or have a travel during the holiday. This is the last ” golden week” after the holiday system was changed this year.
So the transpotation will face the passenger flow. Beijing West Station begin the passenger flow peak today.

Thousands of people watch the Shenzhou VII at Wangfujing
On 25th, Sep, China’s another big issue attracted the eye of the world. Yes, it is the spacecraft Shenzhou VII.
The reports began even several days before the setting off day. And before several hours, most of the TV channal were about the spacecrafe.
A crowd of more than 1,000 people gathered in Wangfujing to watch the launch on the big screen just to the north of the Xinhua bookstore.

Beijing professtional Olympic volunteer job fair
During the Beijing Olympic game, there were 1,700,000 bolunteer provide related service for the Olympic. And most of them are colledge students, all the world know that they contribute a lot in 2008. And they are called the genetation of the Bird’ Nest.
After the Olympic, lots of company want to emply the volunteer to be their employee. And there will be hold some professional job fair for these volunteers. The most popular are the volunteer who provide service on ceremony related and language translation.
On 25th, Sep, Hainan Airline began to employ employer from the volunteer. The total number they need is about 300.
And there will be several this kind of job fair later. More volunteers will be selected through this kind of activity.

Beijing Government Website Publishes Beijing Visitors Guidebook
Beijing’s official website, eBeijing.gov.cn, announced Tuesday the publication of “Essence of Beijing”, a comprehensive 200 page visitor’s guide to Beijing which can be read in print, online, and on mobile phones.
The visitor’s guide introduces Beijing for those who are arriving for the first time and is a free service of eBeijing.
The guide is divided into ten chapters, each of which represents a cultural area. Each area is described in a one day walking tour, with descriptions of cultural, historical, and other interesting sites along the route.
“I think this book will be very helpful to tourists arriving in Beijing” said Selina, Editor of eBeijing.
The guide is unique in Beijing for its use of several media formats together to serve visitors. The multiple publication channels include of a paperback guide convenient for walking tours, a mobile site which offers on-the-spot information about a location once a visitor has arrived, and a detailed online website guide which can be accessed from a web browser.
“The integration of the guide with three different publication channels allows visitors to use the information in the way that is most convenient and accessible for them.” said Forrest Jesse of eBeijing.

Olympic volunteers well-received at Beijing job fair, newspaper says
Job hunters with Olympic experience got a positive reception at a large-scale job fair here, Monday’s China Youth Daily reported.
The fair on Sunday, the first after the Games, drew as many as 30,000 applicants.
More than 5,000 positions were offered by about 600 companies, including many big names such as China Life Insurance Company, Lenovo and Yum! Brands Inc.
Although not stated as a requirement, applicants with Olympic service experience were preferred by employers, the newspaper said.
An employee from Yum! who declined to be identified said that Olympic volunteers had a better sense of service, which companies needed.
China’s Hainan Airlines Co. Ltd and Grand China Air Co. Ltd will recruit 300 Olympic volunteers as stewards and 50 as managers, said Zhu Yimin, President of Hainan Airlines and Grand China Air last week.
He said Hainan Airlines and Grand China Air will introduce an “Olympic air crew” on selected routes, carrying forward the “Olympic spirit and offering service of high quality to customers”.
