The new version of wordpress is available finally. I have been expecting it for a long time. The bug in version 2.5.1 affected my bloging life.

Anyway, wordpress2.6 is here,.Thank you for wordpress team. And hope the bloggers enjoy theire blogging life.

There are just 30 days left to the Beijing Olympic. It is true all of china are expecting for the Olympic. And me too.

I often ask myself what can i do during the Olympic time. I know that i still have to work. Maybe that is the best way for me. But i will try my best to provide some help the travellers. And that is what i am doing right now.

The safe matter is the government most concered i think. We can feel from our enviroment. Now when i come back from my hometown, we also will be checked. And i know that the visa applition for foreigners is not easy as before.  Some of our overseas clients who are planing to China recently have to spent more time on the visa application. Anyway, nobody hurt during the Olympic time is all of our hope.

Maybe today is just an ordinary day for some people. But it is an special day for our Chinese people. The events occoured on 1937.7.7 should remvered by us.

Exactly 70 years ago at Lugouqiao Bridge (Marco Polo Bridge) in suburban Beijing, Japanese aggressors launched an attack against Beijing, starting their overall invasion of China.

We mark this day because we Chinese always believe historical lessons can be a guide to our future. People of many ethnicities share this mentality. That is why many ceremonies are held in many parts of the world every year to mark past important events.

We mark this day because we do not want younger generations to forget what happened to their grandparents during the eight years (1937-45) of war against Japanese aggression and how their motherland was devastated by aggressors.

We mark this day because we want our younger generations to bear in mind the fact that China was invaded by a country that is much smaller in size of both territory and population because China was weak and underdeveloped at the time, and they are supposed to be stimulated by this fact to make more contributions to the prosperity of this country.

We mark this day because there are always some right wing Japanese politicians, who deny the atrocities such as the Nanking Massacre that Japanese aggressors committed during the war and even describe Japan’s aggression against China as a war neutral in nature.

Today when i opened my gmail mailbox, i saw there was an email said that i won USD 400 as a lucky one. I don’t think that it is a true notification. I have read lots of similar emails like this. Now there are too many junk mail in my mailbox. I want to register an new emil address, but lots of my friends just know this email address of me. So i have to delete the junk mails everyday.

Anyway, i would like to be the lucky one. Even it is not true sometimes.

Although wordpress is the most popular blog programe today  and it has developed for a long time, there are still bugs for the new version.

For wordpress 2.5.1, the first bug i found is the uploading of images. I can not insert images to the post in the new version. It is too bad. I took some photos recertly, but the bug stoped me to upload these photos.

Hopefuly the next version will come soon. And it is better for less bugs.

As we know that lots of people in China are learning English. I am also one of them.

In China, most of the time, the parents and the teachers encouraged the children to speak to the foreigners to practice their English. I admit that it is a good way to learn the language by communicating with the local people. For example, practice in the English corner or making friends with foreign people.

But some times, the teacher and the parents will tell the children to speak to the foreign people whenever they meet the foreign people. I don’t think this is the best way to encourage the children to learn the foreign language. I think we should consider other people, especially the forign people. Maybe sometimes they don’t want to be disturbed or maybe they want to have their own space.

So i think we should choose the right time or people to practice our foreign language.

I came to the office as usual today, i didn’t realize that it was April Fool’s Day today. As it was the salary paid day, one of my colleague told me that we would paid more 1000 plus the salary. I was really very excited, because i was so busy these days, even last Saturday i was still on business trip. The boss was really very kindhearted, i thought.

Then i asked why we would be paid for more 1000, they laughted and i realized that today was the April Fool’ Day.  No matter, i just keep work.

It is not a big matter, whether the salary or the joke. I have not feel the environment of this festival the for several years as i am not a student any more.

When i was in school, this western festival were really very popular. lots of students tricked and even the teachers can not be exception.

Today i saw the wordpress 2.5 is available finally. I have heard about it several days ago. I don’t know what it will be for the new wordpress version.

I updated my blog as soon as i know it is available. And the chang of the new version is realy very clear. I will try to familiar as i think it is really worth for wordpress.
