It will be the New Year Holiday for us tomorrow. And the Holiday plan in 2009 in China is as below:
一、New Year Holiday：Jan 1st-3rd, 3 days.
二、Spring Festival：Jan 25th-31th, 7 days.
三、Qingming Festival：Apr 4th-6th, 3days.
四、Labour Day Festival：May 1st-3rd, 3 days.
五、Dragon Boat Festival：May 28th-30th, 3days.
六、National Day and Mid Autumn Day: Oct 1st-8th, 8 days.

With the coming of Qingming Festival which is also known as the Tomb Sweeping Festival on Friday, we will take the new holiday system. The Qingming holiday will be from April 4th- April 5th.
The Qingming Festival, plus the the Dragon-Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival are the new holidays on this year’s calendar, while the once-weeklong May Day holiday is shortened.

It is Women’ Day today, and it is Saturday. So the female people can have a good rest today. How will you celebrate the holiday?
On Friday, March 7, over 1,000 Chinese and foreign women filed into the Great Hall of the People in Beijing to commemorate International Women’s Day. The women ranged from lively, small girls to stately elderly matrons. Everyone sat freely around round tables filled with sweet and savory snacks.
But for most ordinary people, this holiday is just another day. Some of them still have to work today.
I made breakfast this morning for my girlfriend, and we went out to go some shopping center. As there are lots of promotion for this holidday in shopping certer. But we didn’t buy lots of product. We are just ordinary people, we have no enough money. And in the afternoon, she have to work as she is working in the service business. Most of the time in holiday or weekend, they work and that is it.
Anyway, happy Women’ Day to all the famale people!
